Metastatic Breast Cancer <\/strong><\/p>

Trastuzumab is indicated for the treatment of patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer:<\/p>

  • as monotherapy (without other antitumor agents) for patients who have previously received one or more chemotherapy regimens for their metastatic disease<\/li>
  • in combination with paclitaxel or docetaxel for patients who have not yet received chemotherapy for their metastatic disease.

    Early Breast Cancer<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>

    Trastuzumab is indicated for the treatment of patients with HER2-positive early breast cancer:
    \u2022 following surgery, chemotherapy (neoadjuvant or adjuvant), and radiotherapy (when applicable)<\/p>

    • after adjuvant chemotherapy with doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide, in combination with paclitaxel or docetaxel
      \u2022 in combination with adjuvant chemotherapy with docetaxel and carboplatin
      \u2022 in combination with neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by adjuvant therapy with Ontruzant\u00ae for locally advanced (including inflammatory) breast cancer or tumors > 2 cm in diameter.

      Advanced Gastric Cancer<\/strong><\/p>

      Trastuzumab, in combination with capecitabine or intravenous 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and a platinum agent, is indicated for the treatment of patients with HER2-positive, inoperable, locally advanced, recurrent, or metastatic adenocarcinoma of the stomach or gastroesophageal junction who have not received prior anticancer therapy for their metastatic disease.
